Known as 'Solaris' in Russia, the updated model was launched there in 2014. The 2015 Verna will feature Hyundai's Fluidic design philosophy, which will make it look similar to the new-gen Sonata.

Mechanically, the car is expected to remain unchanged. Slight tuning to the suspension and steering system are expected. Engine options are likely to remain similar - two petrol (1.4-litre & 1.6-litre) and two diesel (1.4 and 1.6 CRDi) engines.
