Tata Kite Compact Sedan speculative rendering

Tata Motors Indigo eCS replacement- the Kite Compact Sedan is under development. The car was spotted testing at Kari Motor Speedway racetrack in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu for performance and dynamics.

As usual, rendering artists at Cartoq has come up with a speculative rendering on how the  Kite compact sedan could look like. The Kite CS  features Tata Motors new design philosophy found on the Zest Compact Sedan and the  Bolt hatchback.

Tata Motors will first launch the Kite hatchback next year, followed by the compact sedan, which is primed for a late 2015 launch.

Tata Motors might employ the new 1.2 litre Revotron petrol engine under Kite’s hood. An all-new three cylinder 1.05 litre common rail diesel engine will be introduced in the new offering, mated to five speed manual transmission. It will give output of 64.1 bhp max. power and 140 Nm peak torque.

With the Kite Compact Sedan, Tata Motors will take on the likes of Hyundai Xcent, Honda Amaze and the upcoming Ford Figo Sedan.
