Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 Desert Gold Edition launched at INR 85,497

Bajaj has launched the new Desert Gold Edition of the Avenger Cruise 220 at Rs 85,497 (ex-showroom Delhi). The Cruise 220 was launched last year when the Indian automaker revamped the Avenger range.

In addition to the gold colour and brown seat, the new Avenger Cruise 220 also gets a brown back support for the pillion. Other design elements from the Cruise 220 like the large front visor and chrome inserts on the front suspension forks, exhaust, and backrest frame have been carried forward to the Desert Gold Edition as well.

Apart from the addition of new colour option, the motorcycle does not receive any mechanical changes. The Desert Gold Avenger Cruise 220  is powered by the same 220 cc DTSi engine that produces 18.7 BHP @8,400 rpm, and a peak torque of 17.5 Nm @7,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

The Avenger Street, on the other hand, carries a matt black theme and is offered with the 220cc mill and a 150cc powerplant as well.
