Mahindra launches Jeeto Minivan. Available in diesel, petrol and CNG engine options

Mahindra & Mahindra has launched the Jeeto Minivan- a people carrier version of the Jeeto pickup. Priced at Rs. 3.45 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai), the Jeeto Minivan will now challenge the country's largest commercial vehicle maker Tata Motors in growing minivan space. Petrol and CNG version will be added to the line-up in the coming months.

Launched at a price of Rs 3.45 lakh ex-showroom Mumbai, the diesel version of Jeeto is priced at Rs 25000 premium over its nearest rival Tata Magic Iris.

The Jeeto MiniVan looks identical to the Jeeto Mini truck from the front. The rear is what sets the Jeeto MiniVan from the Jeeto Mini truck apart with quirky looking round tail-lights and the black bumper, actually makes the Jeeto MiniVan an interesting vehicle to look at.

The diesel engine powering the Jeeto Minivan is a BSIV compliant m_Dura DI single-cylinder, water-cooled, 625 cc unit which produces 16 BHP and 38 Nm of torque. The power unit is mated to a 4-speed gearbox and claims fuel-efficiency figure of 26 km/l.
The Mahindra Jeeto MiniVan comes with a warranty of 2 years/40,000 kms (whichever is earlier) and is offered in 3 colour schemes – Sunrise Red, Ultramarine Blue and Diamond White.
