Massive discounts upto INR 2.5 lakh on Harley-Davidson Fat Boy and Heritage Softail Classic

Harley-Davidson Fat Boy and Heritage Softail Classic have just gone cheaper by a large margin. The Harley-Davidson Fat Boy, which was priced at ₹ 17.01 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), will now be available at ₹ 14.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Classic, earlier priced at ₹ 18.50 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), will now be priced at ₹ 15.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

The revised prices are applicable on the Model Year 17 Softail models and have been effective 1st September 2017, till stocks last. To assist customers further Harley-Davidson has come up with a new financing scheme - Bullet EMI. The new scheme involves reduced monthly payments (in terms of EMI amount) and an increased lump-sum paid once or multiple times each year, as per terms of the loan availed.

EMIs for the 2017 Fat Boy start at Rs 14,999 per month and that for the Heritage Softail Classic start at Rs 15,999 per month. With this, Harley hopes to reach out to a wider pool of customers, making its motorcycles more affordable.

Harley-Davidson plans to introduce the 2018 model range with updated engines and this cut down in prices will help it clear the 2017 stocks and make way for the new ones.

2016 Harley-Davidson Roadster from Harley's Dark Custom lineup

Harley-Davidson has rolled out the Roadster,  a version of its Sportster 1200. The motorcycle has been launched at  price of $11,119 (INR 7,36,205). The design is inspired by the classic racing motorcycles from the 1950s and ’60s. The motorcycle was also showcased at the Auto Expo 2016 in February.

Biker Veenu Paliwal dies in road accident in Madhya Pradesh

Veenu Paliwal, one of the top woman bikers in the country, died in a road accident in Madhya Pradesh’s Vidisha district on Monday. The 44-year-old biker was on a nationwide tour on her Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Reports say that Paliwal died due to severe injuries after her bike skidded off. . Meanwhile, her fellow biker and friends has alleged that she was given wrong injection that led to her death.

**Update: Paliwal died of liver rupture caused do the impact of handlebars on the abdomen resulting in internal bleeding.
