Bajaj Platina 100 ES launched @ INR 44,507. FE of 96.9kmpl
Bajaj Auto launched the Platina 100 ES (Electric Start) at INR 44, 507 (Ex-showroom Delhi). The Platina 100 ES will takes on the likes of Hero Splendor, Hero Passion and Hero's Dream series. The Platina ES is claimed to return 96.9Km/l (ARAI certified), which makes it the most-fuel efficient bike ever in India.

Visually, the Platina ES looks similar to the current Platina except for new side panels, new exhaust, slightly different headlamp design and new graphics. The vehicle has a kerb weight of 108 kg.

Powering the Platina ES is a new 102cc single-cylinder with Bajaj's DTSi technology and ExhausTEC. Mated to a 4-speed gearbox, the 2-valve, air-cooled, 4-stroke engine puts out 8.2 PS at 7,500 rpm and 8.62 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. The motorcycle can attain top speed of 90 km/h.
